The particle size determines difference between sand and gravel .Anything that passes through a 2mm sieve and is retained on a 63 micron sieve is defined as sand,whereas all particles retained on the 2mm sieve are classed as gravel.

2. Soft building sand is commonly used to mix with cement to make mortar for bricklaying,wall building and pointing of paving.

5. 20-10mm gravel aggregates is for driveways.
6. 10-5mm gravel aggregates is for paths.
