The bearings of impact crusher always work with a high temperature?

Impact crusher plays a very important role on aggregate production line. Not only can it crush the raw material to smaller but also it can work on shaping. Compared with Jaw crusher and cone crusher, the final products manufactured by impact crusher obviously have a higher quality with excellence, stress-free and cubical-shape. What is best? They are very uniform.

Usually, the bearings’ temperature should be below 35 degrees. When it is over 70 degrees, the machine must stop operating to have an amendment in details. If the bearings of impact crusher always keep working on a high temperature, it will be damaged greatly, which even make the rotor’s main shaft in a dangerous situation.

According to experiences from our engineers, the reasons and solutions are as follows.

1): the bearings need lubrication. You just add lubrication oil on it.

2): the lubrication oil is polluted and loses the function. You just replace them.

3): the up cover of bearing is too tight. Loosen it.

4): the bearings are damaged. Replace them.

In addition, different machines from different companies will be different qualities. Maybe the structure of machine has some troubles when it left from factory. For example, the rotor ( the core part of impact crusher) hasn’t passed the test of balance but installed. With this reason, you should ask some maintenance from manufacturer where you bought the machine. Hope my answers will be more or less available for you.
