Dolomite plays an important role in construction, ceramics, agriculture, and environmental applications. Producing high-quality 80–400 mesh dolomite powder requires a carefully designed line that runs from crushing to precision grinding. Liming Heavy Industry provides two efficient milling options—the MTW European Trapezium Mill and the LM Vertical Roller Mill—both engineered to deliver stable product fineness and lower production costs.
The process starts with primary crushing, where large dolomite blocks are reduced by a jaw or impact crusher. After screening, suitable material is transferred to the grinding stage. Here, the choice of mill depends on the target fineness and production scale.
The MTW trapezium mill is a proven performer for mid-range fineness requirements, typically 200–325 mesh. With features like bevel gear drive, thin oil lubrication, and an advanced separator, it ensures smooth running, consistent particle size, and reduced power consumption.
The LM vertical roller mill is the stronger option for larger plants or when handling dolomite with higher moisture. By combining drying and grinding in one vertical structure, it streamlines the process while delivering precise control up to 400 mesh. Its roller design helps cut energy use and equipment wear, making it suitable for continuous, large-scale production.
Both systems are equipped with dust collection and noise control technology, while automated operation keeps the process stable and labor requirements low.
